Note: This chart is a guide only. Because of high arches, flat feet, wide, narrow, etc., etc. this chart may not be accurate for you. However we do find this to be accurate for most people.
How All Boots Should Fit
For a proper fit, you should have a slight amount of room in the front of the boots to wiggle your toes. Width-wise, your boots should feel a little snug (but not tight!) Your heel should stay in place while walking and not slide back and forth (which can cause blisters). To improve the fit of the boot, try loosening or tightening the laces at different parts of the boot until you get the perfect fit.
Altama Boots
We usually recommend trying at least a ˝ size smaller than the size that you wear in running shoes for our military boots. For our tactical lines, we recommend purchasing the same size as your running shoes.
Belleville Boots
Belleville Boots containing a GORE-TEX® bootie may require ˝ size larger than our hot weather boots for a proper fit. Also, we have found Belleville Brand hot weather boots are slightly larger in fit than your normal running shoe size.
The Exception being the Sabre Series and Tactical Research boots, we recommend purchasing the same size as your running shoe for those models.
Bates Boots
We usually recommend trying at least a ˝ size smaller than the size that you wear in running shoes
Converse/Florsheim/Rockport Boots
We usually recommend trying at least a ˝ size smaller than the size that you wear in running shoes
Haix Boots
We usually recommend purchasing 1/2 to 1 size smaller than your running shoes.
Magnum Boots
We usually recommend purchasing the same size as your running shoes
Original Swat Boots
We usually recommend purchasing the same size as your running shoes
Ridge Boots
We usually recommend purchasing the same size as your running shoes
Tactical Research Boots
We usually recommend purchasing the same size as your running shoes
Wellco/S&W Boots
You can determine your correct Wellco size by using a Brannock measuring device, which can be found in most shoe stores across the U.S., to accurately measure the size and width of your foot.
